Educational Qualification: Candidate shall be a retired district judge or a retired senior judicial Officer or a retired civil servant not below the rank of Collector or a retired senior electrical engineer not below the rank of Chief Engineer having experience of distribution of
electricity and preferably having working knowledge of Gujarati.

Age: Below 65 years

Remuneration:The remuneration shall be Rs. 4000/- per sitting along with to & fro transportation facility.

Job Description:
Chairperson shall have the general powers of superintendence and control over the Forum. It shall be seen by the Chairperson that the Forum acts as per GERC regulations. The Forum shall hold atleast one sitting in a week on a specific day for redressal of
MGVCL consumer grievances who approach the Forum. At least one sitting in a month should be held at the headquarters of the districts within its jurisdiction. The Forum shall have jurisdiction within the area of supply as specified in the license of MGVCL i.e. Vadodara, Chhotta Udepur, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahals, Dahod and Mahisagar.
